Why go: Because this was the Ringwald''s first big hit. The production follows the journey of four gay boys in the Baptist Church.

Why go: The Fundraising Committee of University High School presents its 1st Annual Road Rally on Saturday. Gather a team of four to six people to compete. The first place team will win $500. You must register by today. And this event is for adults over the age of 21.

Where/when: Pronto, Royal Oak, 4 p.m. Sunday
Why go: Raise a little money for the swim and dive team at FHS. Your ticket price helps the teams, but it also includes soup or salad, entree or sandwich, drink and tax.

Why go: AJ's Music Cafe is hosting HPSquared (Highland Park House Project) tonight. The evening will help neighbors in Highland Park with some housing needs by donating all proceeds to them.
