Because this was the Ringwald''s first big hit. The production follows the journey of four gay boys in the Baptist Church.

Where/when: University High School, 4 p.m. Saturday
Why go:
The Fundraising Committee of University High School presents its 1st Annual Road Rally on Saturday. Gather a team of four to six people to compete. The first place team will win $500. You must register by today. And this event is for adults over the age of 21.

Where/when: Pronto, Royal Oak, 4 p.m. Sunday
Why go:
Raise a little money for the swim and dive team at FHS. Your ticket price helps the teams, but it also includes soup or salad, entree or sandwich, drink and tax.

Where/when: AJ's Music Cafe, 4 p.m. Sunday
Why go:
AJ's Music Cafe is hosting HPSquared (Highland Park House Project) tonight. The evening will help neighbors in Highland Park with some housing needs by donating all proceeds to them.
