UPDATE: 2-4 Inches of Snow Expected by Friday Morning

No, this is not a joke... more snow is expected tonight and tomorrow.

We're tired of the snow, but that doesn't stop it from coming.

More snow is on its way to Ferndale tonight and Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a winter advisory from 2-7 a.m. Friday.

Between 2-4 inches are expected throughout Oakland County. Snowfall is expected to continue Saturday, and forecasts call for a rain Sunday and into Monday. Wind gusts up to 30 mph are also expected Friday morning.

Roads will be snow-covered and slick for the Friday commute, the weather service  said.

The hazardous weather outlook statement comes on the heels of a storm that brought 8.5-10 inches to Ferndale on Monday and Tuesday. About an inch of snow fell early Thursday morning.
