Weather Service predicts snow showers through week, then a slight warm-up by New Year's Day
Revelers will encounter mild weather if they decide to go out to celebrate the New Year this weekend.
Weather.com predicts a mix of sun and snow showers this week, with more of the same for the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, Ferndale may see some showers on Friday night. While it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 32, it will warm up by Saturday with a high near 38.
