Memorial Day Slideshow: A Day of Remembering in Ferndale

Memorial Day is not only about remembering the names of those veterans who died fighting for America, but also why they died.

Ferndale's started today at 10 a.m., ending at 11 a.m. with a Memorial Service in Memorial Park on Livernois.

City officials, veterans and residents gathered to honor, remember and thank those who fought and died for America's freedom.
