UPDATE: Owners Found; Natalie Back Home
The dog a Ferndale resident found Tuesday morning running across Hilton, east on Spencer, was returned home Wednesday.
Natalie is back home.
Ferndale resident Laura Leidlein, who found a female dog running across Hilton, east on Spencer, Tuesday at around 9 a.m., has found the owner.
"Natalie is home now! She lived a block away and had just gotten out when I found her. Thanks everyone!" Leidlein posted in a comment on the Ferndale Patch site.

On Tuesday morning, Leidlein said she saw the dog run across Hilton then east on Spencer. "She just rolled over when I came up to her," she said.
The dog had a pinkish, faded collar on but no tag.
