If You Missed It: A Mother’s Transition Story

Last week Ferndale Patch ran a three part series on a mother's experience as she watched her daughter transition into her son. Here's a recap.

Last week Ferndale Patch ran a three-part series written by a mother about her experience with her transitioning child. Her daughter, one night when she was 15, said she was a boy. And the transition from female to male, and also from a daughter to a son, began.

Part One: The Beginning ran on Ferndale Patch July 6.

The story started: My son is transgender. He was born 21 years ago in a female body. He was raised as a girl. He used to be my only daughter.
