Hazardous Weather for Ferndale

There is a chance for 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation and freezing drizzle.

Ferndale is under a hazardous weather outlook along with other parts of southeast Michigan. 

The National Weather Service predicted a burst of snow that will expand northeast across our area between 6 and 11 a.m. The snow is expected to fall in a two to three-hour period resulting in 1 to 2 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. 

There is also the possibility of freezing drizzle in the afternoon and evening that may continue through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Ferndale can expect a chance of snow after 5 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. After noon, there may be rain and snow showers possibly mixed with freezing drizzle. The high will be near 34, with wind gusts as high as 22 mph.
