Get Out: The Parade, the Dinosaurs and the Movement

Where/when: The Detroit Zoo, 8450 W 10 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Through September 5.
Why go: One word: Dinosaurs.
Pricing: $4 plus regular admission: adults $12, seniors $10, children 2 - 14 years old $8.

Where/when: Meet at , 4 p.m. Saturday.
Why go: Relay for Life fundraiser will take a lucky number of participants up to Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek. Go because it's a good cause and you could win a little. Don't go if you have a gambling problem.

Where/when: , 7-10 p.m. Saturday
Why go: If you're 13-20, and want to attend a luau-themed party, then this is your spot. Music, food, volleyball and beach games are planned.

Where/when: Downtown Ferndale, starting at 10 a.m. on Monday
Why go: To hang out downtown, honor our veterans, watch the oldest Memorial Day parade in Michigan... do you need more?

Why go: Because of the music, the people, the vibe, the tradition, and the music (again).
