The Ferndale Schools Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the Harding Administration Center. You can find the agenda here.
Knitting group meets Monday

Thanksgiving Recess
Thanksgiving break for Ferndale Schools starts at the end of the day Tuesday, Nov. 20. Students return to school on Monday, Nov. 26.

Make paper airplanes at library
Kids of all ages are invited to make and fly paper airplanes with the Friends of the Ferndale Library on Wednesday, Nov. 21 from 12-4 p.m. in the Community Room at the Ferndale Public Library. Paper and instructions provided. Caregivers must stay with children 6 and under. Note: The Ferndale Public Library will be closed Nov. 22-25 for Thanksgiving.
Holiday open house
Eight Degrees Plato Beer Company will be hosting its Holiday Open House from 12-4 p.m. on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24. Expect samples of their products and music throughout the day, and the store will be filled with vintage Christmas decor to add to the festive mood.
