Ferndale Library Board Fills Open Seat

Board selects Adrienne Gilmore to fill the seat vacated by Jim O'Donnell.

Ferndale resident Adrienne M. Gilmore has been selected to fill an open seat on the Ferndale Library Board of Trustees.

Gilmore - who will serve until the general election in November 2013 - fills a seat vacated by Jim O’Donnell, who resigned in December to serve on the Ferndale school board.

Gilmore was selected for the position at the library board's Feb. 21 regular monthly meeting.

"We are looking forward to working with her and benefiting from her experience as an educator and advocate of literacy. Her skills as a collaborator in her professional life will help keep the Ferndale Public Library the vital and relevant member of the larger community it always strives to be.”
