Ferndale Family Asks Community's Help in Finding Lost Dogs

Owner is offering a reward for Zeus and King, who recently escaped from their home.

Dogs Zeus and King have been missing Sept. 22 and the family is asking for the community to help find them.

King is a 10-year-old, 50 pound male orange and red Chow Chow mix while Zeus is an 85 pound, 7-year-old male black German Shepherd Chow mix.

They were last seen at their home on Gardendale Street in the Eight Mile and Livernois area.

Both of the dogs are very friendly and will most likely come if called, owner Melanie Pagel said. They are not wearing collars.

"I'm depending on mankind and the power of spreading the word through all avenues," Pagel said.
