Chance of Rain Saturday, High of 66 for Veterans Day

Highs will be in the low- to mid-60s all weekend long, with showers likely Monday.

Christmas music may be on the radio already, but that doesn't mean it's feeling anything like Christmas — or winter — outside.

According to the National Weather Service, there's a 30 percent chance of showers, mostly before 9 a.m. The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy with a high of 62 degrees. Overnight Saturday, the low will dip down to 48 degrees.

On Sunday — Veterans Day — the skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 66 degrees. That makes it perfect weather for the city's annual Veterans Day ceremony held by the Ferndale Memorial Association at 11 a.m. at Memorial Mall on Livernois. However, hold onto your hats: the wind speed is predicted to be seven to 10 miles per hour, with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
