3. Learn about saving for college Tuesday

Is college right around the corner for your son or daughter? Consider attending the at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ferndale High School auditorium. A representative from Merrill Lynch will be on hand to talk with families about the options for saving for college. The event is hosted by the Eagles Pledge.

4. See The Muppets at the Magic Bag on Thursday

At 8 p.m. Thursday, head over to the for . Doors open at 8 p.m., and the movie begins at 9:30 p.m. This 21-and-older event costs $2 to attend. Jason Segal (How I Met Your Mother/Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Amy Adams (The Office/Talladega Nights) star alongside Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzy, Gonzo and the rest of the gang, as the Muppets reunite to save their old theater from demolition.

5. Clothing swap to benefit JFK School PTA on Saturday

A clothing swap will be held at from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, with all proceeds benefiting the PTA. Guests are invited to bring fashionable, slightly used ladies' clothing or accessory items to the 21-and-older event. For a $15 cover charge for guests who bring at least five clothing items — and $20 for those who do not bring clothing — guests will get a welcome cocktail, appetizers, desserts and free mini spa services, and then they get to shop through the clothing items and take home what they like for free.
