30 Days of Giving, Day 22: The Pink Fund

Donate to the Pink Fund and help women and men with breast cancer recover properly.

This is part of a 30-day series of ways Patch community members can give back this holiday season. We hope you'll take part in this 30 Days of Giving and take the spirit beyond the holidays, because there truly is need all year long.

Help provide short-term aid to cancer patients

The Pink Fund is a Bloomfield Hills-based nonprofit organization that provides short-term financial aid to women and men currently undergoing breast cancer treatments. The nonprofit was founded by breast cancer survivor Molly MacDonald who, while undergoing treatment herself, realized there was an unrecognized need for financial assistance among cancer patients and survivors.

Money donated to the Pink Fund will go to people in need throughout Michigan. The money is meant to help those being treated for breast cancer focus on getting better instead of worrying about paying for the various treatments or their inability to work.
