Is It Snowin'? and a mini-film review

Fun and a film review.

Lilah has been none to pleased with the snow we've gotten recently and it probably didn't help matters any that I told her they sometimes close schools for too much snow.  Luckily, that didn't happen today though.  Lilah's response to me was to tell me she didn't like snow and she liked rain.  Now, for those of you who don't know about Lilah's birthplace, that'd be Marquette, MI.  To be from Marquette and say you don't like snow is akin to being from Arizona and saying you're not really a very big fan of the desert.  I have to tell you guys this, though, because no matter how many times I say it to Lilah, she is steadfast.

It seems like it was a pretty uneventful day at school.  They got to play outside and get all slushy (where was Lilah's disdain of snow then, I ask you?) and we turned in her money for the field trip next Thursday where we will be making something fun for mama to presumably break.  Long story, I'll tell you next week after we go.  At the end of the day, Lilah got a sucker and a seashell so that was pretty awesome, too.

Honestly, I'm quite at a loss today as to what to talk about.  I asked Lilah and she said we should do a review.  So here is Lilah and Dano's film review corner of Sarah, Plain & Tall starring Glenn Close and Christopher Walken.

Me: Did you like Sarah?

Lilah: Yeah, my mama turned it on for me.  I watched it without you while you were at an interview.  Did people need you there?

Me: Yes, they did.

Lilah: Oh.  I was really worried about that.

Me: What happened in the movie?

Lilah: The papa came to find the children and said children where are you? And they said I'm over here, papa.

Me: Would you say it was a good movie?

Lilah: Yup, I would say that.  And I'll tell them it was over.  That's what I'm gonna do.

So there you have it.  Our review of Sarah, Plain & Tall.
