Summer Fashion Show For The Dogs Heats Up Ferndale

The Designer Resale Boutique held a summer fashion show Saturday featuring adoptable dogs, with all proceeds benefiting the local Paws for Life Rescue.

It was a day for the dogs Saturday afternoon as Ferndale’s as the business teamed up with Paws for Life Rescue for a canine-themed fashion .

Models strutted down the downtown catwalk to model the boutique’s clothing, as well as show off a couple of adoptable dogs available through the organization.

The event was also in conjunction with the boutique’s move to its new location at 175 W. Nine Mile Road, the former .

The proceeds from the event went toward Paws for Life, a non-profit that exists to match abandoned dogs and cats into loving, forever homes.
