Fun Deals To Keep The Kids Busy

This week's frugal family will keep the kids busy while they're home from school. Grab a treat at Cupcake Station. The shop has sweet deals every day of the week.

Need some structured time? Take them to story time at the or sign them up for camp.

And there's always bowling at to keep them busy.

Deal: Crazy Days: Come into Cupcake Station for a different deal each day of the week. On Mondays, get any size coffee for $1 all day; Two-Buck Tuesdays get you a regular size cupcake for $2 or mini for $1; on Wild Wednesday, buy two cupcakes get one free; cheesecake pops are $3 on Thursdays; a shot of frosting will cost you just 25 cents on Frosting Fridays; all cookies are $1 while supplies last on Saturdays; and regular sized candy cup cupcakes are $2 on Kids Day Sundays.

Deal: The Ferndale Public Library invites families out to enjoy an evening story time.  A caregiver must stay with children 5 and younger. Event is free.
Good: 6:15-7 p.m. today and Wednesdays.

Deal: Grant Early Childhood Center is offering free fun, friends and for children 18 years and younger.  

Good: Noon-1 Mondays through Fridays.

Deal: Kids Play Room: This is a chance to give your child socialization and play time with other children.  The Center provides lots of toys. Parents and caregivers may even get a chance to have adult conversation as you watch your kids play. For Kids Corner activities, the cost is $4 per child 9 months and older per visit or buy a visit pass at the office. Five visits for $10 or 10 visits for $20. Also, registration open for summer camp at the center.
