Fill Your Fridge Back Up With These Deals

When the lights went out a week ago, Ferndale residents saw some deals at local establishments. Now it's time to fill the refrigerator and freezer back up with some weekly deals from Kroger, Western and Ferndale Foods.

Deal: Country Fresh cottage cheese and Moe & Joe's salsa and dips are two for $4. Or get a free pint of grape tomatoes and other great deals with these coupons (which expire Aug. 31).

Deal: Amick Farms boneless chicken breasts are only $1.99 a pound, or get some of Kroger's famous 10-for-10 deals. Stoneyfield Organic yogurt is also on sale: Buy one get one free (6-ounce container) with Kroger card.

Deal: Get a $40 gift certificate on your 14th visit when you join the Carrot Club. Must spend $40 or more each visit.
Good: Ongoing.

Deal: Toy drive to benefit Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan: Bring in a new, unwrapped toy and get a free cup or cone of ice cream. Waffle cones will be $1 extra.
