Mayor Dave Coulter and the City Council presented a proclamation April 8 to honor the business that has operated in Ferndale since 1952.

Mayor Dave Coulter and the Ferndale City Council recently honored Allied Printing Company for 60 years of doing business in the city.

"Allied Printing Company, Inc. began operating as a black and white letterpress shop with one small storefront and a handful of employees in 1952 and has since grown into a cutting-edge, full-service printing company, today employing 95 workers in four buildings," read a proclamation (see attached PDF) presented April 8.

Allied also is active in the community, sponsoring events such as Clean the Ferndale Up and participating in Small Business Saturday.
