Ferndale Art Gallery Moves to Midtown

The Butcher's Daughter is expected to open in Midtown in May.

The Butcher's Daughter, a contemporary art gallery previously located at 22747 Woodward in Ferndale, is relocating to Midtown Detroit in May.

The Ferndale gallery location is no longer in operation, an announcement on the gallery's web site states. Details including location and hours will be posted soon, according to the site.

The Butcher's Daughter opened in 2009, focusing on the representation and sale of emerging and mid-career artists' work and hosting bi-monthly exhibitions and public events.
