DDA Talks: Downtown Events, Business Annivesaries

Ferndale's Downtown Development Authority presenting to Ferndale City Council Monday night the various events and anniversaries the city will see.

Ferndale gave a presentation Monday night at the Ferndale City Council meeting. Board member and downtown business owner Jackie Smith () talked about the various events and anniversaries Ferndale businesses will be hitting this year.

Events coming up include Ferndale's 93rd Annual Memorial Day parade on May 30 (check back on Ferndale Patch later this week for a story on the parade), , Ferndale's Third Thursday Pimp Your Pot event on June 16 and a little further out the Live Green Fair July 15-17 and Fido Does Ferndale on July 21.

Smith added that the DDA is always looking for volunteers and those interested should call 248 546 1632 or email Info@downtownferndale.com.
