The Ferndale Film Festival continues at Blumz with:

  • The Yaw - Gabrielle Gamache Nettles - The Yaw is about a choice in the life of John Freeman, a Bible-quoting hit man.  He swears to protect Sarah, a dancer from his boss, but when a drug deal goes wrong Freeman's world is turned upside down.
  • Derelicts -Jen Letherer - Derelicts is the story of three people who are alone but not lonely.
  • The Commencement -Adrian  - As four young students prepare for their graduation photos, they are questioned by the photographer about their future goals and dreams. Their answers ultimately reveal their fates and in one night, a surprising series of events will shatter the goals and aspirations they once strived for.
  • The Paper Man - Michael Clark - The paper man is a street artist to some, a worthless bum to others. He folds paper in hope of catching the eye of a charming postal carrier in this award winning short film.
  • The Three Components - Colin Messing - Victor Blackfeld, a prominent businessman, is murdered by an unknown assailant. It is the job of Detective Jack Sark to uncover the mystery surrounding his death.
  •  One Door Closes - Michael Sneed - Jeff's day doesn't go as expected. What else could go wrong, right?
  • Killing Kevin - Steve Gast - When a couple of bank robbers decide their partner should have an 'accident', they soon realize Killing Kevin is easier said than done.
  • 2 scoops of Love - Rebecca Berrih - Love tastes even sweeter... when served with ice cream.
  • Certain Essential Elements -  Jeff Schultz - Certain Essential Elements cleverly intersects the evening of two couples that find themselves at a crossroad in their lives and relationships. Whether stoic, sad, naive or excited, reality seems to catch up with all of them one blustery night.
