Gillian Pears: Photographs

Born in 1976 in Richmond, VA, Gillian Pears currently lives and works in Los Angeles. She received her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2006 in photography and her BA from The Evergreen State College in 1999. She is the recipient of the Print Center’s (Philadelphia) Honorary Council Award of Excellence and won the Fleisher Wind Challenge at the Fleisher Art Memorial (Philadelphia). In 2009 became an esteemed MacDowell Fellow.
