First Stop Friday: The High Strung and Drew Bardo

Who says you have to be quiet in the library? On Friday, February 3 , The Ferndale Public Library places itself firmly in the loud camp as it showcases two local bands, The High Strung and Drew Bardo of The Questions as part of its monthly First Stop Friday concert series. This concert is free and all ages are welcome.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Music begins at 7 p.m.

First Stop Friday is the perfect start to a busy weekend. Shows end early enough for music fans to make it to their next stop or to make it home at a decent hour. The all-ages, no alcohol, non-bar atmosphere provides a unique setting to hear great local music for those who aren’t able to or don’t want to go to a bar. Local talent from all genres of Metro Detroit’s rich music scene is harvested for these intimate, one-of-a-kind shows.
