At The Rust Belt Market: Autumn Moon, LLC
Autumn Moon offers a variety of products including candles, jewelry, lighted bottles and more. The line is constantly changing and evolving, check out the array of items this Saturday at Rust Belt Market.
The offers a unique experience for patrons as well as vendors. The new market hosts more than 60 artists every weekend. Each week, Ferndale Patch will feature one artist and get a closer view of what the heck each does.
Ferndale Patch: Who are you and what do you do?
Christina Davis: My name is Christina Davis and I am the owner of Autumn Moon, LLC. I have been creating art all my life, but making jewelry and candles for over 10 years now. I always dabble in a little of everything. My current product line consists of soy candles, handmade jewelry including Steampunk and fabric wearables, lighted bottles and jars with embellishments, seasonal crafts and art in different mediums. I am working on a vintage bridal line of jewelry, accessories and candles, which will launch in a month or so.

Ferndale Patch: How did you get your start?
Davis: Back in the day, my roommate, Kelly, came to me and said that I should start selling my jewelry, art and candles. I thought it was a great idea. She did all the paperwork for her band, so she helped me get everything set up to start my business. I bought an easy up tent and started to do fairs and festivals. I am so grateful to her for motivating me to do this. My business has grown every year since.

Davis: Nature, the seasons, music and other artists.
Ferndale Patch: What is it about the Rust Belt that attracted you to it?
Davis: I love how the Rust Belt is set up. It's artsy, vintage and industrial all in one. I get to listen to great music all day. It is a place I have always dreamed about and more. Plus, the owners are super fabulous and are always there for you when you need them. As an artist, I feel so at home there.
Ferndale Patch: Tell us one thing about your work that would surprise us.
Davis: Not sure if this is surprising or not. I have only used reference photos for a few of my paintings. Most of them are strictly done from my mind.
