Art Fair, Summer Splash Bring Family-Friendly Fun to Oak Park

A pair of events this weekend in Oak Park will offer family-friendly fun for everyone.

• The Oak Park Summer Splash will kick off at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Oak Park Community Pool. The event will include swimming, music, games and more. The Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce, Oak Park Recreation and the Oak Park Arts and Cultural Commission spearheaded the event, which is presented by Northland Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Oak Park. 
• The Oak Park Art (OPA!) Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Oak Park Community Center. The event will feature glass artists, fiber artists, photographers, ceramic artists, painters, jewelers, sculptors, mixed media artists and – if art isn't your thing – a classic car show.
