Transition Ferndale Meets Wednesday

Group will show the video "Coal Country," a 2009 documentary about coal mining in West Virginia.

Transition Ferndale will show the video "Coal Country" at their next meeting this Wednesday.

Transition Ferndale is a local group dedicated to using solutions such as car sharing and locally grown food to tackle global issues such as peak oil, climate change and economic turmoil.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan 16 at the Ferndale Public Library, 222 E. Nine Mile Road.
