The third annual Pig & Whiskey street party kicked off on Friday night in Ferndale, drawing crowds to East Troy Street despite sporadic thunderstorms that left many in surrounding areas without power.
The event, which features barbecue and other eats from 11 restaurants, a large variety of local beers, live entertainment and more, continues 11 a.m. until midnight Saturday and 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Sunday.
Metro Times is partnering with Woodward Avenue Brewers, Jack Daniels and other sponsors for the event.
The Pig & Whiskey is free to enter; food and drink prices vary.
