'Ferndale Fixed 500' Brings Biking in From the Cold
Downtown Ferndale Bike Shop presents indoor bike race benefiting the International Velodrome at Bloomer Park.
The first ever Ferndale Fixed 500, an indoor bike race benefiting the International Velodrome at Bloomer Park presented by the , took place Saturday.
The competition was open to all, for a fee of $10, and included categories for beginner and expert riders.
The , at 23130 Woodward Ave., hosted the event. The next race is scheduled for Feb. 25 at 9 p.m. in the Park Bar in Detroit.
