Dream Cruise Guide: Ferndale

Here's everything you need to know to experience the Woodward Dream Cruise in Ferndale.

Let's get started with our city-by-city tour of Dream Cruise events in Ferndale, where the cruise itself began in 1995 as a small fundraiser to generate money for a soccer field.

Parking: Ferndale will close East Nine Mile Road up to . The parking along that stretch, as well as the parking in the parking lot, just east and the public lot just west (of the library) is closed. The lot on Vester, just west of , also is shut down. Beyond that, parking is open for all.

There are public lots at the corner of West Troy and Allen, as well behind the north end of West Nine Mile, along Withington Street.

Spectators can set up shop in the median, but canopies and tents are prohibited. Pedestrians can cross at Woodward and Nine Mile.
