Bring donations to the Woodward Avenue Candy Shop during the month of November and get 10 percent off your purchase.

The Woodward Avenue Candy Shop is currently collecting new hats, gloves and scarves that will be donated to local shelters.

Donations can be placed in a box at the store during the full month of November. All of the items will be donated to five different Oakland County shelters to help keep people warm, said owner Janie DeJaeghere.

Anyone who donates will get 10 percent off their total purchase as a way of saying thanks, she said.
