Dales Neighborhood Meets Tonight

A meeting of the Dales Neighborhood group will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Digital Learning Center, located at 427 Allen Street.

The group will discuss how to grow, finalize its geographical boundaries, confirm its neighborhood group name and more, according to the Facebook event page.

The idea of organizing the neighborhood group was first discussed at a Nov. 2012 meeting that Dales residents initiated with the school district to discuss concerns about the Digital Learning Center. They held a second meeting on the topic in December.

Tonight's meeting will focus on organizing the group and what topics - such as crime, social events, or physical improvements - the group might want to take on.
