Hank and Doug Meijer are the richest men in Michigan, with a net worth of $8.3 billion.

Nearly a dozen Michigan billionaires have been named to  Forbes list of the 400 Richest Americans.

The richest pair in the state are Hank and Doug Meijer, co-chairmen of the Michigan-based supermarket chain, with a net worth of $8.3 billion.

Bill Gates was ranked the #1 richest man in America, a title he's held since 1994. He has a net worth of $72 billion.
