Woodward Speed Limit in Pleasant Ridge

After construction was completed on Woodward avenue late fall in Pleasant Ridge, I've noticed the speed limit signs have not been re-posted or uncovered.  This excludes the underpass through interstate 696.  Is this deliberate or are drivers to assume the speed limit is back to 45 m.p.h.?  I think by law, roads without posted speed limits in residential are 25 m.p.h. and non-residential are 55 m.p.h.  What do you think?
