Stocking Hop in Ferndale

What do you get when you team up three of Ferndale’s most fun female owned shops?  The best Holiday shopping night ....ever!  That is exactly what you will discover Thursday night, December 6th as you hop from Naka, Rouge, and Green Daffodil throughout Ferndale.  Each location will have a nifty swag bag made especially for the event to fill up with great gift giving goodies.  The bag is a available for a donation of $2.  The money collected will be donated to FernCare Free Clinic.  The mission of FernCare is to provide no-cost medical care to the medically uninsured residents of the area.

Each shop offers personalized service, unique handmade products, and strong community pride!  Naka defines itself as “an indie boutique”.  Here one can find work from many independent designers and artists.  On display is a carefully edited selection of handmade jewelry for both men and women, baby gifts, handbags, wallets, stationary, and t-shirts.  Rouge exclaims to be “Glam, Green & Gorgeous” with their organic, natural manicures & pedicures and healthy makeup & skincare.  They feature locally made Eve Organics products.   A gift certificate from here is a must!  Lastly, Green Daffodil Studio is where all of Green Daffodil’s bath & body products are handmade.  They are not only known for their vegan soy candles, soy lotion, lip balm, room mists and soaps, but for their unique vintage finds and artisan wares.  Here you can explore their world and “Go Green Daffodil!”

During the evening event each business will offer light fare for their patrons to enjoy and plenty of Holiday cheer.  Every shop will have different specials and some take-away’s for supporting a local business.  Mark your calendar, grab a friend, and hop from shop to shop!
