 s scheduled for Saturday\, June 23rd offers a wonderful selection of som
 e of our finest homes in Royal Oak.\nThis city wide self-guided home tou
 r sponsored by the non-profit Royal Oak Woman&rsquo\;s Club offers a rar
 e opportunity to experience the craftsmanship\, architecture and unique 
 features of some of the most impressive residences in this popular commu
 nity. With six stops\, the tour showcases homes with varied themes and p
 assions:&nbsp\; a stunning multi-level Mission-influenced home\, a class
 ic Craftsman bungalow\, with coffered ceiling\, leaded glass windows\, l
 ovingly restored to its original beauty\, a Dutch Colonial\, decorated i
 n traditional d&eacute\;cor\, a former commercial building converted to 
 a one-of-a-kind\, design-oriented 5\,000 sq. ft. loft\, with a show car 
 displayed in the living space.&nbsp\; The homes featured this year conta
 in a number of award winners including: First Place: Interior Use of Til
 e from Detroit Home 2011 Design Awards\, "Residential Beautification Awa
 rd" from RO Chamber of Commerce and a Featured home in 2011 National Ass
 ociation of the Remodeling Industry Home Tour.&nbsp\; In addition\, one 
 of the home owners was chosen to be the contractor for a project feature
 d on HGTV's &ldquo\;House Crashers&rdquo\;.&nbsp\; Your tour will also i
 nclude Royal Oak&rsquo\;s Historical Society Museum &ndash\; housed in a
  converted vintage firehouse.&nbsp\; Trained docents will direct and edu
 cate participants at each site.&nbsp\;\nThe city-wide tour starts at the
  Royal Oak Woman&rsquo\;s Club\, 404 South Pleasant\, at the corner of F
 ourth and Pleasant Sts. Tour hours are 10 AM to 4 PM. Tickets are $20.00
  in advance or $25.00 at the door on the day of the event.&nbsp\; Advanc
