DESCRIPTION:Guided session from 6-6:30\, and silent session from 7-7:30. 
 We are a  group of local folks of all ages\, backgrounds and traditions 
 who meet  every Monday and Wednesday in downtown Ferndale for two sessio
 ns: a 1/2 hour guided  meditation at 6:00\, followed by a short break\, 
 and then a 1/2 hour  silent\, seated meditation at 7:00. All are welcome
 \, whether you are a  beginner or advanced practitioner. Some people pre
 fer to attend either  the silent or the guided session\, and some choose
  to participate in both  sessions. We recommend arriving about 10-15 min
 utes before the session  starts to find a seat and get comfortable. Both
  floor cushions and  folding chairs are available\, and you are welcome 
 to bring your own  cushion as well\, if you prefer. This is a non-religi
 ous\, non-sectarian  group that is purely interested in creating a safe 
 and welcoming space  where meditators from all backgrounds and experienc
 e levels can gather  for the purpose of benefiting ourselves\, each othe
 r\, and the community  as a whole. $3 donation per person is suggested i
 n order to cover the  expenses associated with maintaining the meditatio
 n space\, however\, no  one will be turned away for lack of funds. A don
 ation bowl is located  near the door at each session for those who are a
 ble to contribute. Your  donation covers participation in both the guide
 d and the silent  session.
