This is a 10 week program designed to introduce your child the FUNdamental skills of basketball, as well as the basic concepts of the game. This is a great chance for your child to explore a new sport in a supportive atmosphere.
Season begins early January through mid March. Teams will have practice and have one game per week. Practice days and times are dependant on gym availability and are typically held during the week in the evening. All games will be played on Saturday mornings. A referee will be provided for the 9-12 age group.
Registration deadline is Thursday December 13 and register online and save $10 at www.ferndalerecreation.org

Ferndale Recreation's offices are located in the Kulick Center and it works with everything from senior programs to soccer matches. If you're looking for a program, whether it's a perenial exchange or a place to have a family reunion, Ferndale Recreation is the spot. Its website has all the pertinent information for calendar events and information on how to rent a meeting room at the Kulick center or reserve a pavillion at one of Ferndale's many parks. The center itself has an indoor basketball court, a fitness room, a teen room, as well as a day care with a playscape outside.
