Taft Education Center is part of the Ferndale school district. The center is geared toward adult and alternative education. An alternative student must be 16 to 19 years of age to enroll. For students over 20 years old, a high school completion program is offered. The education center also has English as a second language education and literacy skills. The Ferndale school district promotes diversity and responsibility through out their schools.
