 hington Avenue with the 18th&nbsp\;Annual Clay\, Glass &amp\; Metal Show
  on June 9 and June 10.\nJewelry\, gifts\, decorative art\, pottery\, be
 ads and architectural pieces from 125 artists will be available for visi
 tors&rsquo\; shopping pleasure. Priced from $20 to $2\,000\, everyone ca
 n find something to their taste at this event\, one of the nation&rsquo\
 ;s top art shows. The Artists&rsquo\; tents will be open from 10 a.m. to
  7 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.&nbsp\;\nNew demonstr
 ations in metal work and pottery will add excitement to this year&rsquo\
 ;s event. The 2011 hit Glass Blowing Demonstration will return at Washin
 gton Ave near Lincoln. In addition\, adults and kids can express their o
 wn artistic side by painting a ceramic piece or pot\, squirting a shirt\
 , making a wax hand or firing a raku pot when visiting the Creative Arts
  Studio tent\, located at Fifth and Washington. Thirty minute wheel less

 so returns to center stage\, with visitors invited to stop by the Mosaic
  Tent at Sixth and Washington to help create the next stage of panels. T
 he project is made possible by participating artists who bring in scrap 
 materials which are then re-purposed into a vine and floral mosaic assem
 bled by the Royal Oak community. Local artists Marcia Hovland and Laurie
  Eisenhardt\, along with guest grouters\, complete and frame. Once finis
 hed\, the 2012 panels will join the first four\, created at the 2010 and
  2011 events\, already on display in the Children&rsquo\;s Area of the&n
 bsp\;Royal Oak Public Library.\nAccording to Shelly Kemp\, Executive Dir
 ector of the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce\, the event has evolved over 
 the years and is now united by a central concept. &ldquo\;All the art fe
 atured at the Show is manipulated by heat and comes from the earth. Fire
  and Heat make this event unique among art shows as all the art on displ
 ay is created through this one earth element.&rdquo\;\nArt isn&rsquo\;t 
 only for the eyes\, it&rsquo\;s for the ears too. Event attendees can re
 charge and relax\, enjoying acoustic sounds from students from the&nbsp\
 ;Detroit School of Rock &amp\; Pop. The stage\, placed at 4th&nbsp\;and 
 Washington\, will feature a variety of performers on both Saturday and S
 unday. Fun food booths will be on hand\, including Huntington Woods own 
 Motor City Franks and Ferndale&rsquo\;s Treat Dreams\, so attendees can 
 grab a quick treat.
