The Artists&rsquo\; tents will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. \;\nNew demonstr ations in metal work and pottery will add excitement to this year&rsquo\ ;s event. The 2011 hit Glass Blowing Demonstration will return at Washin gton Ave near Lincoln. In addition\, adults and kids can express their o wn artistic side by painting a ceramic piece or pot\, squirting a shirt\ , making a wax hand or firing a raku pot when visiting the Creative Arts Studio tent\, located at Fifth and Washington. T he project is made possible by participating artists who bring in scrap materials which are then re-purposed into a vine and floral mosaic assem bled by the Royal Oak community. Local artists Marcia Hovland and Laurie Eisenhardt\, along with guest grouters\, complete and frame. Once finis hed\, the 2012 panels will join the first four\, created at the 2010 and 2011 events\, already on display in the Children&rsquo\;s Area of the&n bsp\;Royal Oak Public Library.\nAccording to Shelly Kemp\, Executive Dir ector of the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce\, the event has evolved over the years and is now united by a central concept. &ldquo\;All the art fe atured at the Show is manipulated by heat and comes from the earth.
