What Would You Improve in Ferndale in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Ferndale, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in the Ferndale area to make it an even better place to live?

What is on your Ferndale wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Tell us in the comments section below or blog on the Ferndale Patch Local Voices section about why you love living here!

Ferndale is a great place. I would like to see a curfew set in place for youths betweem the ages of 8 yrs old to 18 years from 9 p.m. til 5 a.m. in areas Woodward Brewery to Vester and from the library to Western Market - - Thurday though Sunday. Also, NO Bikers from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on 9 Mile, or North Woodward from the Woodard Brewery to Tom Bars. Riders can use Troy Street instead, the city can design a well lite area using solar lamps and bikers can use the South Woodward, fine panhandlers, I am sure it might cut on crime. OMG, reduce the number of salons. The DDA needs to meet with the residents to find out what we want to see in the city and then the owners and take action. It would be nice to see one or two police officers walking the beat on the weekends or on bikes.
