Ferndale Game Day at library
Learn new games and play old favorites at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ferndale Public Library. Come alone or bring your friends and family. Local game enthusiasts will be on hand to teach new games and play along. No experience required and all ages are welcome. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Go Comedy All Star Showdown

Escaping Pavement at Dino's Lounge
Escaping Pavement, an alt-country band based in Ferndale, will perform from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Saturday night at Dino's Lounge. The alt-country group is led by singer/songwriters Aaron Markovitz and Emily Burns, and their repertoire consists of original songs off their upcoming debut EP as well as re-vamped, stripped-down cover songs.
