Get your baskets of candy ready! Halloween is Wednesday, and the sun is expected to set in Ferndale at 6:26 p.m.
While some communities have official trick-or-treating hours, Ferndale doesn't, said City Clerk Cherilynn Tallman. Residents can use their own discretion.
Here are the hours for trick-or-treating in some nearby communities:
- In Auburn Hills, trick-or-treating is from 6-7 p.m.
- In Berkley, trick-or-treating hours are from dusk until 8:30 p.m.
- In Birmingham, there are no set hours for trick-or-treating.
- In Clawson, there are no set hours for trick-or-treating.
- In Hazel Park, there are no set hours but suggested time is 6-8 p.m.
- In Madison Heights, trick-or-treating will be from 6-8 p.m.
- In Pleasant Ridge, trick-or-treating is from 5:30-8 p.m.
- In Rochester Hills, trick-or-treating will be from 6-8 p.m.
- In Royal Oak, there are no set hours for trick-or-treating.
- In Troy, trick-or-treating will be from 6-8 p.m.
