Learning is not only fun this Winter Break, it's cool and delicious at Treat Dreams Winter Break Ice Cream Camps December 22-January 4.
Treat Dreams is offering two weeks of fun ice-cream-making camps for kids over winter break. Students will learn the art of ice cream making and then work together to create two original ice cream flavors that will be sold the following day as part of Treat Dreams' daily flavors.
Camps are $35 per student for a two-and-a-half hour session: 9am-11:30am or Noon - 2:30pm. Sessions are available daily December 22-24, December 26-31, and January 2-4 for students ages 8-12 and 13-16. Each student will receive 2 pints of their original ice cream to take home as well as a Treat Dreams T-Shirt. Additional pints will be available for purchase.
To register for a Winter Break Ice Cream Camp, call Treat Dreams at (248) 544-3440. Camps are limited to 8 students per session so interested parents should register their children as soon as possible.
"I'm very excited to be offering our Winter Break kids camps again," said Treat Dreams owner Scott Moloney. "The response to our previous camps has been so great that we wanted to give our previous students and new ones more opportunities to come in and make their own delicious ice cream."
Treat Dreams is located at 22965 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale. The micro-creamery is open 12-9 pm Monday - Thursday & Sunday, and Noon - 10 pm Friday & Saturday.
