Today: Get the Scoop on West Nine Mile Road Project
Residents are invited to an informational open house Wednesday about the new plans for West Nine Mile Road, including the timeline and how traffic will be affected.
An informational open house will be held on Wednesday to educate residents about the changes coming to West Nine Mile Road.
Last month, Ferndale City Council approved a Nine Mile enhancement project that includes new street lights, on-street parking, reduced traffic lanes, street trees, wide sidewalks and landscaping.
From 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 925 W. Nine Mile Road, the city of Ferndale and the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority will host an information session on the project.
Light refreshments will be offered and all are welcome to attend. The public will get to see the plans for West Nine Mile Road, find out about the timeline and learn how traffic will be affected.
