Tigers' Ryan Raburn to Serve Up Floats at Berkley A&W

Second baseman/outfielder will be at the restaurant Tuesday afternoon to help raise funds for the Detroit Tigers Foundation.

This Tuesday afternoon, diners at the Berkley A&W location will get a serving of Detroit Tiger pride with the Coney dogs and root beer floats.

Second baseman and outfielder Ryan Raburn will be visiting the fast-food restaurant at 4100 12 Mile Rd. from noon-12:40 p.m. as a guest server to help raise funds for the Detroit Tigers Foundation.

For those who can't make it there in time to catch the Tiger, they can still make a difference for the nonprofit. A&W locations throughout Metro Detroit will be giving out free small root beer floats all day Tuesday for any donation made to the foundation – a great way to beat the heat.

The Detroit Tigers Foundation donates thousands of dollars annually to youth, education and recreation programs in metro Detroit. To learn more or to make a donation, visit the nonprofit's website.
