Summer may be coming to a close, but here's one reason to look forward to fall: the Hilton Fall Festival.

The Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce and Ferndale Recreation will present the 2012 Garden Fresh Gourmet Hilton Fall Festival on Oct. 13.

The event - which will be held from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. along Hilton Road in Ferndale - will include music, kids’ activities, costume contests, pony rides, hay rides, an arts and crafts fair and more.

The festival, which will be held on Hilton between Sylvan Avenue and Mapledale Avenue, is free to attend with a charge for activities. All-inclusive wristbands are available for $5 per child for kids ages 3 to 15, and guests ages 16+ can purchase single activity tickets for $1 to $2 each.
