Midnight: Well folks, it happened. After Charm Farm reunited for the first time nearly 15 years, the Insane Clown Posse joined them on stage for a song. Of course, that was just one portion of the night. From artists to crafters to food vendors and, yes, bands, the DIY Street Fair was in full swing Friday evening.

5 p.m.: This weekend, Ferndale plays host to two fairs, the DIY Street Fair and the Funky Ferndale Art Fair. As of Friday afternoon, the two fairs were gearing up for the crowds. Vendors were making their booths their own, there was a sound check at the Metro Times stage on East Troy for the DIY Street Fair, and the beer tents were checking the taps.
