Ferndale's Woodward Imperial was recently recommended as a venue where diners looking to ditch the status quo can expand their horizons in 2013.
Imperial was among the 13 restaurants selected by Metro Detroit food critic Molly Abraham in an article in The Detroit News.
Imperial "has the breezy attitude of a California beach bar," Abraham writes. "That tiny menu has what might be served via taco truck, pretty little open-face soft tacos in seven varieties."

AWESOME! Great to see Ferndale getting a lot of good press... Imperial, One Eyed Betty's, Local Kitchen and Dino's all showing the Ferndale is a force in quality food and community spirit.
