Kennedy Students Take to 'Broadway' in Next Musical Production

More than 100 students will come together to put on the production 'JFK on Broadway' this weekend.

Students of John F. Kennedy School in Ferndale are taking the stage this weekend to put on the production JFK on Broadway.

This musical tells the story of a girl named Sophie. On the night before auditions for her school musical, she has a change of heart. “What’s so special about Broadway?” she asks.

During the night, characters from famous Broadway musicals come to visit her to try to convince her that there is more to the music world.

More than 100 students will bring the story to life with costumes, props and a supporting crew of more than 30 stagehands and volunteers.

I encourage everyone to come to this, even if you don't have kids in the show! I guarantee there is something for everyone: "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead," "Stomp," "Hard Knock Life" and more. It will be about one hour long - very family friendly. And Treat Dreams ice cream will be sold at intermission. Lots of tickets still available for Sunday's matinee.

So how do we buy tickets?
Are there still some for Sat. evening?
If not, still some for Sunday.
The poster didn't say price but i just read in Woodward Talk that it was $5.

Hi Sherry,
Tickets are available at the Kennedy office or a limited number will be at the door. Tickets for Saturday's show nearly sold out soon after the announcement, so that's why the Sunday matinee was added. You could try calling the office when you decide which time you'll go, just to make sure there are tickets still available.
And yes, tickets are $5.
